The Faculty Multimedia Lab (FML) aims to support teachers as they create technology enhanced learning environments. The FML allows teachers to develop lessons with technology such as videos, multimedia, podcasts, digital documents, and interactive whiteboards (IWBs). The following equipment is available for faculty use at the lab:
- Three Windows PCs on the NFA network for IWB lesson development.
- A document scanner for scanning photos and documents.
- Two iMacs for video editing and podcast recording.
- Two VCR/DVD combo players for recording video clips from VHS tape or DVD.
- A professional audio microphone and mixer for audio recordings and podcasts.
- A Polyvision Eno IWB and projector.
- Five Flip Ultra HD 720p video recorders (good for student-created videos and podcasts).
- A Canon Vixia HF200 1080i HD camcorder (good for slow motion videos and podcasts).
- A wireless Bluetooth lapel microphone for audio recordings and podcasts.
